Overview

Summary:

These positions are responsible for ensuring that the Collington Building is cleaned nightly and for reporting any conditions that may require additional support.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Remains cognizant of and adheres to Credit Union policies and procedures.

 

Level I Duties

 

Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, and office space.

 

Dusts

 

Cleans kitchen counters, sinks, and kitchen tables

 

Cleans Board room

 

Cleans bathrooms

 

Restocks paper supplies in bathrooms

 

Empties trash

 

Cleans glass on doors and cubicle panels

 

 

Team Lead Duties

 

Performs all the duties and responsibilities of the Custodian I

 

Oversees and assigns the work of the Custodian Is

 

May monitor work of cleaning service vendors such as carpet cleaning, window washing, etc.

 

May periodically strip and wax tile floor surfaces at Collington and other branch locations

 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Custodial Team Lead will be responsible for assigning and monitoring the work of the Custodians Is. The Team Lead will record timesheets for the Custodian Is.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Custodian I: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Custodian Team Lead: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience.

 

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions of equipment and label instructions of cleaning products.

 

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills:

Not applicable.

 

Certificates and Licenses:

Not applicable.
