Summary:  The Receptionist/Front Desk Security acts as the Collington Corporate Office greeter.  This position receives visitors, locates employee contacts for visitors, and provides appropriate badges to those visitors accessing secured areas of the building.  This position processes the returned mail and may assist with various Administration, Corporate Administration, Facility, and Security Department projects. The Security & Fraud Investigation assessment is required for consideration.

Front Desk Security/Reception: 

  • Maintains reception area in neat and orderly condition.
  • Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, issues visitor passes, announces visitors to appropriate personnel, and maintains log of visitors.
  • Directs off-site employees to proper meeting rooms for Credit Union training programs. 
  • Maintains an awareness of parking lot activity outside the entrance and notifies the appropriate people of any suspicious activity.   
  • Receives small deliveries made to the corporate office, such as lunch orders, legal documents served on the Credit Union, etc. 
  • Issues and blocks employee temporary access badges using the access badge software.
  • Tracks and maintains records of usage and inventory of temporary access badges.


Returned Mail:

  • Processes returned mail by reviewing account records within the Symitar system and making the necessary updates.
  • Notifies the appropriate Security Department employee of any returned mail on a new account.
  • Reviews address quality control reports and makes corrections as needed.  Maintains records of errors so appropriate training can be provided to Credit Union employees.  


Performs other clerical duties as needed, which may involve the use of document retrieval systems and reporting systems.


One year related experience.
