    WORK SCHEDULE

    Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday. The typical work week is 40 hours.  Overtime may be required.

     

    Responsibilities

    SUMMARY:

    • The Licensed Sales Assistant is employed by NASA Federal Credit Union and registered through CFS (Member FINRA/SIPC), and as such is subject to the employment policies and rules of both organizations.
    • The Licensed Sales Assistant provides support and coordinates client service activities for one or more Financial Representatives, Financial Advisors, and the Investment Program.
    • Performs basic licensed duties in an effort to increase investment program growth.
    • Calls clients and makes appointments for the Financial Representative or Advisor
    • Takes orders from clients and places them with CFS for execution
    • Performs administrative duties for the Financial Representative or Advisor, which may include: monitoring assigned emails and voicemails for follow-up items, and maintaining calendar of appointments for the Representative or Advisor
    • Develops and maintains long-term relationships with clients.
    • This position may be eligible to share in commissions produced by the Financial Representative/Advisor they are assigned to by mutual written agreement and approval by CUSO Financial Services.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Two years related experience in a support, sales, or administrative capacity (ideally in a bank/credit union environment).

     

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Licensing required:

    • Series 6 (Investment Company and Variable Contracts Exam - Mutual Funds/Variable Ammenities) 
    • Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam) 

    Additional Licensing preferred: 7, 65 or 66, Life & Health preferred

    All employees must disclose any criminal history with CUSO Financial Services, LP ("CFS"). All individuals will be fingerprinted, as mandated by the FINRA Books and Records rule.
