    To perform all necessary duties associated with managing the daily operations and staff direction of the Correspondent Lending Channel of the Residential Lending Division. This position is accountable to the Vice President of Residential Lending for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of team responsibilities including exceptional service levels to our Correspondent Channel lending partners, prompt review and conditioning of loan files, issuing and updating channel rates and products offered, channel pipeline management, and funding approvals. 


    • Remains cognizant of and adheres to Credit Union policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
    • Works closely with the Vice President of Residential Lending to initially plan and document all channel procedures, policies, and internal guidelines.
    • Assist with creating needed documents.
    • Assist with loan origination system setup and testing for Correspondent Lending channel.
    • Design and plan rate sheet format, lock desk timing and notifications.
    • Coordinate and manage critical relationships mentality within all channel components.
    • Interview, select, train and supervise applicable channel staff.


    • Minimum of ten years of overall mortgage lending experience.
    • Minimum of seven years of mortgage operations and supervisory management experience.
    • Minimum of five years of correspondent and / or wholesale relationship operations management.
    • Complete understanding of correspondent pricing setup, structure, margins, calculation of loan purchase amounts, premium pricing, documentation and QC.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with team members and lender relationships.
    • Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage time and priorities.
    • Demonstrated thorough knowledge of underwriting guidelines, fundamental processes and procedures.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of current regulatory and compliance requirements, including quality control standards.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
    • Ability to positively interact with third-party industry providers including MI companies.
