    Responsibilities

    JOB SKILLS/DUTIES SUMMARY 

    • Works in tandem with underwriting and processing of home equity loans.
    • Knowledgeable of the Credit Union’s second trust loan policies and credit granting criteria.
    • Proficient with member relations and telephone interviewing techniques - required to effectively discuss loan alternatives, credit criteria, interest rates, and documentation requirements with staff and borrowers.
    • Thorough knowledge of loan underwriting and processing functions.
    • Reviews credit documents for completeness and accuracy.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of four years lending/home equity processing and loan approval authority experience.  Knowledge of Home Equity lending products preferred.
