    Responsibilities

    As a Loan Servicing Representative, you will deliver exceptional customer service via telephone, mail, and email while assisting members with NASA FCU lending products and services. In Loan Servicing you are responsible for maintaining accurate data in our loan servicing system for mortgage and consumer loans as well as acting as a member and branch liaison for all mortgage and consumer loan transaction-related questions. The Loan Servicing Representative is a tiered position with formal training modules and career advancement opportunities as you learn and execute new skills.

    • Posts payments and payoffs to loan accounts
    • Responds to internal and external email communications
    • Tracks recordation and processes lien releases on first and second Deeds of Trust
    • Processes and posts life/disability/unemployment credit protection claims
    • Processes loan corrections
    • Maintains loans under the Servicemember’s Civil Relief Act (SCRA)
    • Handles GAP insurance remittance, claims and reporting functions
    • Processes account transfers due to security breach or removal of member from account
    • Processes credit bureau reporting and corrections
    • Processes all tasks associated with maintaining vehicle collateral file

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of relevant experience and/or training required
    • Must be a self starter with the ability to make acceptable judgment decisions with limited supervision and remain professional in all communications with members and co-workers
    • Willingness to learn and be challenged
    • Ability to work Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM - 4:30PM
