    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for insuring accurate pricing on all loans originated through the correspondent channel
    • Maintains data integrity in the system to ensure accurate pricing for loans at time of purchase
    • Assists correspondent lenders in matching loans with the appropriate product
    • Publishers, distributes, and maintains rate sheets and announcements to correspondent lenders and internal staff
    • Keeps abreast of product and pricing guidelines
    • Adaptive to various forms of mortgage software and systems
    • Maintains a positive outlook with team members in a deadline-oriented environment
    • Reviews correspondent channel guidelines and integrates changes into the pricing model, as necessary
    • Monitors the correspondent channel pipeline and sends out appropriate reminders and/or reports to correspondent lenders (e.g., “Expiring Locks” report, “Aged Unfunded Loans” report)
    • Serves as back-up to the Retail Lock Desk Specialist and assists with daily retail desk responsibilities, as assigned

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience:

    • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar position
    • Experience with typical Lock Desk functions and terminology
    • Familiarity with the work flow typical in a loan origination system
    • Knowledge of generally accepted practices in the secondary mortgage market
    • Detail oriented
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
